Linea Micra with both boilers drained in a custom 1637 Pelican Air with acaia lunar scale and Weber Workshops Unifilter. Total weight is 29.35 kg. The Key Mk 2 will be in its own custom travel case from WW! The pelican air fits the Micra perfectly and is light enough to be checked in on flights.

Are you moving cross country or do you regularly travel with your micra?

  2. Nice, though when you are carrying it by the handle, the machine is upside down. While that may not matter, it would matter to my brain.

Was this somehow mistakenly posted here instead of r/espressocirclejerk? Asking for a friend. 😉

Why not flip it so it’s right-side up when carrying by the handle?

I’d ask if you work in the entertainment industry but I see I’ve got my answer.

I highly recommend getting an insert custom cut. That pick n pluck foam is going to get shredded after a few uses.

  12. Did you do the cut out yourself? They look really neat, if you did, what did you use?

im glad you posted this as the last time I traveled with my Micra I placed it in its original crate/cardboard box it came with and checked it as a luggage. I was worried, but it came out fine.
